Alex Bryan serves as SARCRAFT’s Business Development Manager.
SARCRAFT is a wilderness skills school and outfitter based in the Southern Appalachian foothills near Waleska, GA. Our roots run forth from the wilderness search & rescue field, and we believe that this enterprise is a continuation of that mission to save lives and empower others.
He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Reinhardt University, where he served as Student Body President and was named Undergraduate Student of the Year upon graduation. He worked in sales for both a Fortune 100 financial services corporation an a national construction services corporation before choosing to strike out on his own. He is an Eagle Scout, and credits the Boy Scouts with starting him down the road that led him to co-found SARCRAFT.
Since their founding… SARCRAFT too has branched out to become a collective of instructors with a broad range of skill sets that go far beyond their “wheelhouse” in SAR skills such as tracking, land navigation, wilderness medicine, and technical rope rescue.
We host specialists in topics such as ancestral skills that predate history, wild edibles and plant medicine, homesteading and off-grid living, and traditional handicrafts such as woodcarving and leather working.
We strongly believe in building community and relationships, being good stewards of the land that’s been entrusted to us, and empowering others through the skills we teach to PREVAIL in every aspect of their lives.
